Moving Towards Crawling

Avery's getting closer to crawling! I was trying to take some pictures that would capture her new skills, but it wasn't working. So I decided to take a stab at adding a video to the blog. It was actually a lot easier than I thought, and its opened a whole new world of blogging for me! Enjoy!

Play Date (kinda)

Jessica and Adriana came over on Tuesday to have a 'play date' with Avery and me. The girls don't really know how to play together yet, but they have fun comparing screams and pulling eachothers hair.


Adriana showed up wearing a dress that matched one of Avery's, so of course I put Avery in it and we had a little photoshoot. Last time we did this we ended up with a ton of pictures, and this time I think we may have even more. :) I tried to delete some, but it's hard to let any go! I put them all on Shutterfly. Enjoy!

Avery's Baptized!

Last Sunday the Cook's, Grulich's, and Chason's filled the first three rows at Wildwood Church to watch as Paster Bob baptized Avery! It was such a special time for David and I, and it was great to have the support of our family. My parents were able to come up from South Florida for the weekend, and it was a lot of fun having them here. I added new pictures to Shutterfly of their visit!

Avery's six months now and she's amazing us every day with something new. She loves to laugh and is becoming quite skilled at maneuvering her way around the great room. She's such a joy and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter here in Tallahassee!

The morning started with Avery and her Easter bunnies (and chick). She started making the funniest face when I asked her to smile! I'm not sure where it came from, but she was able to do it repeatedly...I was laughing so hard I could hardly hold the camera still!


After church we had the Grulich grandparents, Taylor, Jamie, Bonnie, and Courtney over for lunch. It was a relaxing afternoon and we took a lot of pictures of Avery looking adorable in her Easter dress (thanks Gigi!).

Breakfast with Jessica and Adriana

This morning Avery and I met our good friends Jessica and Adriana for breakfast at Chick-fil-a. Got some cute pictures of the girls and just thought I'd share them...

I thought this one was particularly funny...they look like the "cool" girls, and Avery looks like quite a snob! (it's cute now...but it won't be in a couple of years!) :)

Our Uncle Lou and Aunt Nancy never fail to take tons of pictures whenever we see them, and I couldn't be more happy about it because they always send me copies! :) So thanks to them, I've added a LOT of great pictures onto Shutterfly. Some are from February, when the 'Grulich' aunts came to Tallahassee for a visit. When they were here, we discovered that the Kosareks (Lou and Nancy) would be in Salt Lake the same week we would be there.
