All I can say is WHOOO HOOO!! :) My girls are making me proud!
Kinley can find her own thumb, which was inevitable from the start, she's been looking for it for 3 months now. She'll still take the pacifier, but usually spits it out and finds her hand. More importantly, I moved her from the cradle to the crib last weekend. She's always stirred throughout the night, but as she's getting bigger/stronger the kicks/flails are getting louder, and actually waking me up (which they never did before). So anyways, her first night in the crib she slept from 8pm to 6:30am. And she's been sleeping through the night ever since! YAY! Partially thanks to the thumb, she can sooth herself when she wakes up.
Now to Avery - she's potty trained!!! I've been putting it off since Kinley was born because I wasn't ready to tackle it. It's just as hard, if not harder, on the parents as it is on the child. Well I finally felt like Avery and I were ready. So last Tuesday I put her in big girl panties. The first day was rough, lots of accidents, and we were both exhausted by the end of the day. Miraculously, Wednesday went without a single accident! To this day, she's only had a few accidents - all when someone else was watching her (I think she may be a little embarrassed about going with other people). I'm SO happy to have potty training behind me, and I can't believe it only took one day! :)
I don't have any new pics of Avery, but here's a funny one from our trip to South Florida. We were on the boat and she put her face up to the glass where all the adults were sitting. We were all in tears we were laughing so hard, and Avery ate it up! I don't think she realized what she looked like...

there are those teeth you never see :)
