Railroad Square

Saturday morning I made plans with Mallory to take some new pictures of the girls.  (Mallory is the one that took last years pumpkin patch pics, she's married to David's cousin Nick, and she's pretty great...)  :)  She was gracious enough to give up her weekend morning, thank you Mal!  She suggested going to Railroad Square so we gave it a try and the bright backgrounds made for some great shots!  For the first 5 minutes Kinley's hair was dry, after that it was soaked through with sweat.  Despite the heat the girls had a blast walking around and seeing everything.

After deleting as many as I could handle (it's so hard to delete pictures, even if their eyes are closed I still feel like I may want to see it one day when they're all grown up) I still had 435 pictures!  I know...way too many.  I uploaded them to Shutterfly with the lowest resolution so it wouldn't take all day.  Any family members that would like to print one, just let me know and I'll email you the full sized file.  :)  Heads up - a lot of the pictures look the same, Mal's camera snaps FAST and again, I couldn't delete any.  Enjoy!!

Boating for Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day weekend with my parents on their boat.  They're cruising up the east coast and we met them near Jacksonville in a small town called St. Mary's.  It was beautiful and quiet, the perfect way to spend 4 days!  We saw porpoises (Avery called them 'whales') several times a day, and they were very comfortable coming close to the boat.  We visited Cumberland Island twice and actually saw the wild horses from our boat.  Avery's highlight was finding shells and throwing them in the water.  We really enjoyed the time with my parents and look forward to doing it again!!

An attempt to get a picture of my mom with the girls:

Thanks mom and dad for inviting us to your new home, it was great!
