Videos of the Girls

Here's a video update on what the girls are up to these days.

Warning: If parents not putting clothes on their children is a pet peeve of yours - don't continue!  Neither of these videos were taken with the intent of putting them on the blog.  And truth be told, when we're relaxing around the house this isn't totally uncommon.  I'm not too proud to admit it.  :)

Here's Avery on Saturday night reading a book after her bath/before bed.  In order to get a video of her being herself, I have to pretend I'm not taking her picture.  So I propped the camera up on the coffee table and hit record.  Sorry for the poor sound quality, it's as good as it gets.

Here's a video of Kinley sitting on her own.  Kinda.  I have to be right there to catch her when she inevitably loses her balance, but we're getting closer to independence.  I love all these milestones, and find the learning process hysterical.  If you haven't noticed, I laugh in just about every video with Kinley trying something new.

In other Kinley news -

Her second tooth came through the gum yesterday.  Two out and several more about to join them.  All are still too small to see in a picture, but if I happen to get a good one I'll post it.

She HATES food.  I've been trying for several months now, off and on.  No matter what I try, I get the same "I'm going to throw-up now" expression.  She spits it out without fail.  Rice, oatmeal, peas, potato, apple, banana, and a few others I can't remember at the moment.  It's quite a change from Avery who will eat anything and everything!

Tomorrow we go to the doctor for her 6 month check-up and shots.

Blueblerries

That's how Avery says it - she graduated from "blue blues" to "blueblerries".  This morning we drove to Wasicca and picked a gallon of blueberries!  The Garcia's went last weekend and told us about it so we decided to take our own little trip!  At the last minute Rick and Keller joined us for the adventure, and Avery was glad to have her friend there.  The two of them ate more than made it into their buckets, and once they had their fill they were ready to go sit in the shade.  The heat here has been unbearable lately, some days breaking 100 degrees!  To quench your thirst the nice gentleman that owns the farm was giving samples of his homemade blueberry wine.  The kids and I stuck to the water jug, but according to the guys it wasn't half bad!  It was a great morning, and I'm sure we'll be back again soon.  But in this heat we might just pay the extra $6 and have our gallon pre-picked and waiting for us.  ;)

Jamie and Josh's Wedding Weekend

June 13th Jamie and Josh tied the knot!  We went to South Florida for 5 days, and had a very full/fun weekend.  Like usual, my camera never left the bag I brought it in.  So I came home with ZERO pictures.  Thanks to Facebook I've been able to 'steal' all my family's pictures, so here are some of my favorites.  haha  Thanks family!!!
