Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone for so long! My workload has really picked up and finding a free minute has been difficult. A lot has been going on around here. Kinley is getting bigger by the day, and starting to explore a little more. She rolls around a lot - I've found her clear across the room a few times. She's still sweet as a button and an incredibly easy/happy baby. Avery's "terrible two's" come and go. I'm beginning to notice a pattern with colds, sick = not a fun toddler and healthy = a sweet little girl. Unfortunately she's been sick a lot this winter. haha Right now she's healthy and such a joy to be around. She's pretending a lot more and I love seeing/remembering how a child's imagination can take them anywhere they want to go. As I type this she's a farmer discussing with cow how he needs to eat his yogurt for breakfast. :)
Last week I tried to give Kinley some rice cereal. She's been VERY interested in our food when we eat, so I thought she might be ready. I was wrong. She hated it, and later that afternoon had an upset stomach...so I'm going to wait a month and try again. Here's a video of her first reaction to eating food. I laughed the entire time! :)
Last weekend we went to Ocala, FL for Taylor's (David's brother) high school baseball playoffs. And CONGRATS to Taylor and Chile High School for making it to States! We'll be in Port St. Lucie on Memorial Day to cheer them on again! Since Chiles won both games Friday night they didn't have to play the 3rd game on Saturday, so we decided to take the girls to Silver Springs. It was actually a lot of fun: glass bottom boats, lots of animals, and a nice morning outside. Kinley slept the entire time, including when I took her out of the stroller for the boat ride and VERY bumpy jeep ride. Here are some pictures:
I'll leave you with this picture, a great depiction of how David and I feel after every busy day...

Hey Kailee! I was so excited to see your update! Glad you guys are doing well. Just wanted to say hi! Hope you have a great week!
haha...that video of Kinley is so funny - as soon as you get the spoon close, she makes the face! I can't believe how big she is - sitting in the highchair already...she needs to slow down :( Hope work isn't too bad this week - we need to get together!
